The Club grounds have been subject to major modifications since the summer of 2012 that now enables competitors to access all shooting positions via concrete paths.
For the comfort of all members and visitors there is a fully equipped ranch-style clubhouse with male and female toilets, kitchen and lounge facilities. Hot food is normally prepared to accompany all competitions, and hot beverages are always available.
Dogs are not allowed in the clubhouse, and owners should ensure their dog is kept under control whilst on the range.
We’re pleased to offer a comprehensive number of layouts suitable for competitors of all abilities, set in glorious surroundings just minutes from the capital. Are you new to the sport? Check out information for new shooters for tips and definitions.

Formal competitions are typically held on Sundays with sign-on closing at 10:00 sharp. These fixtures are also open to visiting shooters but only IOMCPSC members can win prizes and have their scores recorded for end of season league prizes. Competition results are available on the day and trophies are awarded annually at our Club Dinner near the end of the summer season.
To encourage novices and help established shooters who want to try something new, we hold a number of handicap competitions in each of the disciplines. To gain a handicap, a shooter must have completed in a minimum of two competitions in that discipline after which they will gain a handicap that’s applied to subsequent results.
The range is usually available for open practice on Saturday mornings from 10:00 until 13:00, and currently on Wednesday afternoons from 12:30 until 15:00. During these times we aim to cater for English Skeet, Pro Sporting, and DTL disciplines, but upcoming competitions an also influence what gets set up for open practice.
Corporate and charity events are also held from time to time, further details are available on our fixtures page. In order to satisfy insurance conditions it is necessary for visiting shooters to complete a day membership form and this can be downloaded from the link below.
If we need to make changes to any competition or practice times due to inclement weather or private bookings we’ll post an update on the home page as early as we can, so it’s a good idea to check in before you head out.
